I had read the bad "expert" reviews prior to taking my 6 yo and I'm glad I didn't listen to them. It was a fun, enjoyable movie with a few sad parts. As far as the "experts" saying that it delved into too much real world issues like Global Warming and starvation, unless you have discussed those topics in-depth with your child, it is simply a problem for Mumble and his friends to overcome.

Loved it! The story line was great and the singing was awesome! How can you go wrong with Pink? The baby penguins are adorable and fluffy!!

I was disappointed in this movie. Here's why: 1) Too scary - my 3 year old indicated several times that it was too scary 2) Too much bad singing - I don't want to hear Pink singing for 5 minutes in a kids movie 3) Bad plot and no character development - I didn't see the point of the Eric penguin...he was just made fun of and didn't evolve into the key character which you expected 4) More bad singing

I actually saw it with my 16 yesr old grandaughter and we loved it. Great story and great music. The cast of characters were terrific. Loved Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Hank Azaria. And all the kids and their parents also seemed to really enjoy it. Jackie
